About Sam Perry
I'm Sam Perry. I run Edge Solutions out of Charlotte, North Carolina, and I work with owners anywhere in the country.

What I do
I set up AI inside owner-run businesses and keep running it with the owner. My focus is hard assets, commercial real estate and land. I also work with other owner-run businesses like retail shops and site contractors, and with sales teams.
I build on your own information. I capture how your business runs: your systems, who owns each one, who may see what and what your people know. Often the first thing I do is set your team up in its own Claude workspace and teach them to use it on their real work.
Why my client list is small
I keep my client list small on purpose so you deal with me. I'm the one who learns how your business runs and the one you sit down with each week.
What I believe about running AI well
In a report published in September 2026, KPMG asked senior leaders at large companies how AI is going for them.1 My reading is that the ones getting a return run their AI well. They know what it costs and someone answers for it. Those are big companies and yours probably isn't one. I think the habit is worth copying anyway, and it is the part I do for you.
How I work with an owner
I set the AI up and keep it running, and I'm the one accountable for how it goes. The decisions about your business and your people are yours. Each month I check what it costs you against what it's worth to you. If something isn't paying off we change it or stop it.
When the work needs one, I also build a simple app or dashboard on your information for your team to work from.
A note from Sam
At my last role, I began using AI in the workflows I oversaw. I recognized the value quickly as my knowledge of it grew. I thought of the many business owners I know, and I knew they could only capitalize on AI so much, because the day to day of their business needs their attention. AI needs attention too. Most business owners can't afford to divert theirs, so they throw their money at another subscription and hope for the best.
This business is an expression of the role of steward I see myself to be in life. The technology of today is amazing. How we use it needs some work. AI gets a terrible reputation, typically because of our lack of diligence and attention to how it should be governed and orchestrated for each situation.
I am built on strong values. Humility, integrity and excellence are three of many. I am wired to help others, and that is my goal every day as my feet hit the floor running Edge Solutions.
Start with a few questions about your business
Tell me about your business and how your team uses AI today. I read the answers myself.
1 KPMG International, Global AI Pulse Q3 2026, published September 2026. A survey of 2,131 senior leaders at companies with US$50M or more in revenue (US$100M or more in ten markets). The answers are self-reported. They show which things go together and do not prove one causes the other. I apply them to a smaller business by analogy.
